This needs to change. Having people with appropriate knowledge and experience will go a long way to address this challenge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Experienced Non-executive Directors will help improve awareness and provide guidance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><p>An <strong>\u2018Executive -in- Residence\u2019<\/strong> does not hold the legal appointment of a director, but would be a \u2018pillar of strength\u2019 in the organization,&nbsp; working with the Board, C-Suite and management, to create and unlock value.<\/p><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2018New generation risks\u2019 are more difficult to manage and control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stakeholders are inadequately identified, assessed and generally there is no effective engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><p>With the intensity of Sustainability regulatory changes, there is a lack of awareness, understanding and compliance thereof \u2013 a key and possibly existential threat in the long-term.<\/p><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are significant ethical issues that need to be addressed:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Greenwashing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bad corporate, business and organizational governance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Diversity, Equity and Inclusion<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work conditions, especially supply chain related, e.g. child labour<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<br>\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:24px\"><strong>\u2018The biggest risk is not knowing what the cost of doing nothing is, and the opportunity cost of lost opportunities!\u2019<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-1658","specialist-advisory","type-specialist-advisory","status-publish","hentry"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/ksa.com.gr\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/specialist-advisory\/1658","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/ksa.com.gr\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/specialist-advisory"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/ksa.com.gr\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/specialist-advisory"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/ksa.com.gr\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=1658"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
